Hello my dear Steemians,

 

Today we wanted to share the message from that wonderful project "Planet Wild" that is the team is sending to all the Supporters to keep them updated about what happened and is to come.

This message was shared in "Planet Wild" Discord and also available now in Youtube

Just to recap here are the Missions of year 2023 that was done with Subscription of users:

• Forrest Resurrection: the Planet Wild team partnered with Harz National Park to turn things around and help transform this stressed ecosystem into a strong and climate resilient forest.
• Guerilla Fighters: the Planet Wild team joined a civilian Guerilla firefighting group based in the La Moarda mountains who are tackling this issue head on. Thanks to our Planet Wild members, we were able to support them with protective equipment, training and other tools to fight the wildfires effectively: water pump backpacks, fireproof footwear, and a mobile fire extinguisher unit.
• Food Forest in Senegal: In that mission the team partnered with Trees for the Future in Senegal who are planting a diversity of native trees, shrubs, vegetables and plants.
• The secret Language of Dolphins: With the support of the Planet Wild community we were able to fund two hydrophones that can record underwater dolphin communication for acoustic analysis. This kind of evidence-based data is crucial to advocate for marine protection in Portugal.
• Ocean Floor Cleanup: Planet Wild members supported their work by funding two underwater scooters (aka. diver propulsion vehicles). This piece of specialised diving equipment allows divers to navigate strong currents easily, helping reach their destinations faster. Our community also funded one full month of operations.
  -Saving European Bisons: Thanks to Supporters help, it was possible able to use technology to help Poland’s bison thrive. The membership fees helped ZTP purchase and equip a herd with three GPS tracking collars, and pay for a thermal camera crucial to spotting bison in the wild.
• Return of Lynx: protecting the population of Lynx, installing 30 Wildcameras
• Elephants &Bees: to protect elephants and the livelihoods of locals in the Ngorongoro region
• Return of a little owl: it was possible to fund the purchase and installation of 25 new nesting boxes for the owls

 

 

 

Refer a friend and 6 trees will be plant by Planet Wild Team

 

There are 12 Missions planned in year 2024 and of course, in order to carry them out the Project will need our Help of ordinary people who are carrying about the future of our nature. In order to make something good from referring a friends the Team came to wonderful Idea:

Every member received an email from "Planet Wild", for referring a friend it will be 6 Trees planted in Senegal project "Great Green Wall of Africa

Therefore, we wanted to share it here is anyone would like to contribute then please go ahead and join our Mission and become a Planet Wild Supporter.
