My daily art. Testing a new graphic material.

My yesterday's daily art turned up while visiting my friends. It turned out that they had presented their child with a sketching set from Faber Castel, and, of course, the child really wanted to try to draw with a gift, and just then the artist came to visit.

This classic sketch kit included a lead pencil, an oil-based black pencil, a sanguine pencil, and a white and dark brown pastel pencil.
And a twisted rice paper stick for drawing a blur

I must say right away - if you want to give a good gift to a person who loves to draw, give such a set. It will never be superfluous and all materials are of very good quality.
(this is not an advertisement for the manufacturer, although if they decide to pay me for this advertisement, I do not mind))))

So, for the test of materials, we took a sheet of craft paper and decided to reproduce the image of the lips that were painted on the packaging of this kit.
The child was very surprised that such beautiful lips were drawn with only 4 pencils.
And I watched with pleasure how this image was created.

We started by repeating the shape of the lips and teeth and defined the main colors.

made highlights and added small details and folds to the lips.
And that's it, the picture turned out almost like on the package!
The testing was successful, the child is happy, and I was once again convinced that I really love the materials of this manufacturer!
