When I was little one of my favorite toys was a replica of a stegosaurus, that imposing animal that had a great armor that made it a prehistoric war tank, I want to share with you this post that is dedicated to dinosaurs visit a museum in Portugal where I was doing a small project and I took the opportunity to take these photos before yesterday to share them on STEEMIT and together learn something about dinosaurs!😁😁

One of the most famous and coveted animals in cinema! We refer to reptiles that no longer walk on our planet because they became extinct millions of years ago, if we want to see a dinosaur in person we should take a trip back in time and visit the MESOZOICO and CENOZOICO, scientifically at this time it is known as the era From the beginning of the mammals, if we decompose the word dinosaur it would mean "lizard-terrible" these huge animals could weigh more than 70 tons, but not all were giants, there were some species that only measured 50cm!🤯🤯

HOW ARE THEY CLASSIFIED?🦖🦕👨‍🎓/COMO SE CLASIFICAN👨‍🏫🧠

IMG_7683.JPG

In order to classify these animals it is necessary to know what characteristics they possessed, one of them was the position of the bones that articulated in the hip, we had for example the "Saurischians" here are grouped all those dinosaurs that the hip had similarity to a "lizard" then the "Ornithischians" the hip was identical to that of the current birds! There is no certain theory that corroborates the origin of these animals but it is believed that they evolved from "thecodonts" whose ancestor is that of crocodiles for example!👨‍🎓

WHAT IS A FOSSIL?🦖🦕👨‍🎓/QUE ES UN FOSIL👨‍🏫🧠

IMG_7670.JPG

We would not have been able to discover the existence of these already extinct animals if it had not been for the discovery of a "fossil", we can define it as an organic material, which has been preserved by different types of preservation processes, they can be plants, bacteria, bones ! If we enumerate which are the most found fossils, we would say that they are the bones and the footprints!🤔😮

The work of a paleontologist is crucial to decipher how was the behavior and physiognomy of a dinosaur, it is like a detective trying to recreate a "case" from a "clue" the question is ??? How does a paleontologist know the behavior of an animal that is already extinct? easy ... Compare with the behavior of animals that are descendants of them, for example birds, crocodiles and other animals! These animals that reigned the earth more than 200 million years ago are the key to knowing what the primitive earth was like.😄😄

Compara con el comportamiento de animales que son descendiente de ellos por ejemplo las aves, los cocodrilos y otros animales! Estos animales que reinaron la tierra hace mas de 200 millones de años son la clave para conocer como era la tierra primitiva.😮😮
