I ANALYZE THE CELLS IN MY MOUTH / ANALIZO LAS CELULAS BUCALES

This is one of the most popular laboratory practices, we do it since we are in high school and it is the starting point to learn about cell organization, with it we can see the main parts of a cell, here we are going to see the nucleus, the plasma membrane and cytoplasm, and I cannot fail to mention that we are going to use a chemical compound to stain the cell!🧫🔬

The first thing we will do is use a new and clean swab, we will introduce it in the innermost area of our cheeks, on both sides of our face, then we remove the swab and rub it on a sheet😮💦

Next we are going to place water on the slide of the slide and on top we are going to drop a sheet of the coverslip, I did the experience observing the cells without being stained and another experience applying methylene blue!😮😮

Then I used the smallest objective that is 5x + 10x and I increased the objectives until I reached the cell, it looks like this, but there is a problem ... It is not so easy to differentiate the parts ... That is why the dye to stain the core.🤔

We are in the presence of a eukaryotic cell, that is, an animal cell! We can differentiate it from the vegetable because there are no chloroplasts, we also do not see vacuoles and other distinctive characteristics! Then I show you in another post what a plant cell looks like! Let's begin to define the nucleus, let's say that it is the epicenter of the cell and here the genetic information or DNA is stored. Due to the chemical properties of methylene blue it can pass through the membrane and stain the nucleus!😁😁

Then we have the plasma membrane that surrounds the cell and keeps everything in its "place" gives stability and helps the incorporation and exit of substances! let's say it's semi-permeable💥💥

Finally, the cytoplasm would be that internal environment of the cell, surrounds the nucleus and here all the cellular organelles such as mitochondria, ribosomes are arranged.🧫🔬

Well my friends, I hope you have learned something new today, I would like to add that the normal thing is that the cells are together that is how they remain when they are alive, thank you for voting and evaluating my post, hugs and do not miss another scientific study!❗✅

THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTE AND YOUR VALUABLE OPINION (the photos is my property) 🙂🧠🦾👍
