Art Contest at The World of Xpilar

Hello friends
Today I'm going to take the liberty of participating in a contest on :
ART
This is an artwork of mine that describes Chinese motifs . It was painted for a friend of mine as a Christmas present and he was very happy. I have not painted this style of art before and it was my first time but I am still pleased with what came out , Split into three canvases again a first attempt at not painting on just one canvas . I was a little unsure at first as I have not painted with such detail but with a little patience I got to the final result which I would like to know your opinion about .I will describe how it started and how it ended in several stages .

This is the finished picture which is divided into three . My friend is a big connoisseur of this type of art and even hung it in his living room to watch every day ha ha

I start with the sketch with which I decided to risk and start directly with paints . Do not make a sketch with a pencil as I generally work with finer details . It's just that with this type of art, things happen with more colour bleeding and no modesty with the brush.

I distribute my details equally throughout so that there is a balance in the work to work on all three canvases simultaneously. I got a little confused at times ha ha but still managed to get myself in sync .

I moved to the tripod as the sails were quite large . And I started to create . By mixing a few basic colors black , pink and white . As you can see the paintings are dominated by these colors and a palette of these shades.

Here I started to play with colors and little by little to achieve the necessary details to get a magic that affects the viewer as soon as you look at it.

This is what you get ..The end result I hope you like. I took one picture at a time to see the details in close up . Here I showed a lot of patience and wasted a lot of nerves frankly because I was not very prepared for this style of art but I still got to the end. What I feel as soon as I see the picture is a touch of beauty and character . The flowers add a tenderness to the details and the mask which is a bit creepy perhaps characterizes the devil who guards them. What do you think ? What do you feel when you look at the picture ? For example, I like to psychologically read what I draw after I finish it. Because I put my heart and soul and describe how I see the world . Maybe you feel mixed emotions here but I am ready to hear your opinion ..
