For the current week of the competition, I selected an old photo: a portrait of a girl I encountered at a bench in St. Petersburg botanical park... Over the years, of course, I don’t remember what exactly she was doing in her notebook - if she sketched nature, wrote a diary, or just daydreamed; but her eyes are clearly turned inward. I also liked the message on her T-shirt. Do you recognize the quote? PS. Black-and-white conversion was added in Photoshop.

This was my entry to 'Portrait photography and art' contest by @axeman — week #118.
This is a great photo. Like you said, "her eyes are clearly turned inward." The first word I thought of when I saw this photo was “introspection.”

'introspection', yes, it is an absolutely matching word. I still happy I was able to capture such an intresting moment/facial expression... I am pretty shy to shoot folks on the streets, you know.
:P
