Sitakunda Upazila is an upazila in the Chittagong district of Bangladesh, comprising 9 unions and one municipality. It is one of the 15 upazilas of Chittagong district, the second tier of the administrative system of Bangladesh.
Sitakunda is famous for its many Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist religious architectures. There are 292 mosques, 50 temples, 3 Buddhist monasteries and 6 tombs. Notable religious places include Bar A Aulia (Bar Aulia), Shahjahani Shah Mazar, Chandranath Temple, Pasthishala Buddhist Monastery, Sitakunda Shankar Math, Vidarshan Ram Bihar (founded by Pandit Prajanalok Mahasthavira), Hammadyar Mosque (specially established by Sultan Ghiyasuddin)
