My latest drawing.
Mushrooms, @bambuka collects them, I draw them.
Some marker-drawing review and tips.
The drawings above are with Ohuhu Honolulu alcohol-based markers.
I received a set of 216 markers for testing (the full set is 320), and reviewing.
They arrive with a case, which is great for storing, or to carry around.
I like to arrange the markers in color groups.
In addition, they come with color charts (with the names of each marker), which I recommend to fill, in order to get used to the color range.
Another feature they have is a brush tip that you can flip. Meaning, if you damage the brush tip, you can reverse it and have a new one.
These are the cheapest markers I ever used, yet they are quality markers, like most known brands.
For comparison, a set of 216 Ohuhu markers cost like 13 Copic markers...
Marker tips and brands:
Always make sure the cap is closed.
Some markers have a structure that will not roll on the work surface.
For example, Copic Sketch:
Touch:
And, Spectrum Noir Illustrator:
Other markers have either a cap brake, to prevent from rolling:
Or, a clip:
There are many types of tips, for different tasks.
For drawing objects with straight and sharp edges, like this drawing of a marker, use the chisel tip:
Here too:
For coloring (filling areas), use the brush:
Bullet tips (nibs), are good for details.
Some markers have a huge tip.
They are good for filling large areas.
Example in black:
And, white:

Especially the left pair looks like a pale toadstool... if this is it, then I do not advise you to even touch it))
