I'm Avi. My father is a government official. My mother is not a housewife. I am the only son of parents. I have no sisters. I am studying in the second year of Honors in one of the varsities.

We live in our own home. Our house has 3 rooms. Mother does all the work in our house alone. Dad will retire next month. So my mother told me to demolish this house and build a new one. I also agreed. Because this house of ours is before I was born. So my father decided to build a house with his pension money.

Seeing this, my father retired. So my father decided to demolish our house. But then there was a problem. It was decided to go to a rented house with our furniture. So I started looking for a home. I could not find a home like my mind. But on the other hand mother fixed a house. Although I did not like the house at all. I told my mother my opinion. But my mother said, if we stay in that house, we will have many benefits. Because that house is near our house. So how our house is doing, it can be seen very well. So I did not say anything.

Today we will go from our home to the rented house. So I got up very early in the morning and started tidying up. In the evening we reached the rented house. Mom tells me where to put things and I'm putting them there (although the heavy furniture is arranged by the laborers). I'm packing light things. It was very difficult, my mother understood this and told me, if there was a girl in our family today, she would not have to do this anymore. I understood that my mother was talking to me about marriage. (Mother is very ill, she can't do any heavy work). I started working pretending not to understand.

The tidying work was almost over, this time the owner of the house came and told me not to go to the roof at night. At night the roof gate is locked. Hearing that, my mood became very bad. But I couldn't say anything, because we rent this house.

We have 4 rooms in this house. There is a big lock in the corner of the room. I asked my father, why is the room locked? Dad said, we were not given that room. The owner has some belongings in that room. I thought to myself, I will enter that room but then my father told me not to go to that room. So I did not say anything else.

It was 11:09 at night. I didn't eat anything all day. So looked very hungry. Dad brought bread and bananas from outside and said, this is what you have to eat tonight. So I started eating. Suddenly someone knocked on the calling bell. I opened the door and saw the housekeeper's wife standing. I asked him to come inside. I saw a girl in the back. Standing with food. I was very happy in my mind. (I don't see the girl, I see the food). Although the girl is good to see. When the landlord's wife left the room, she looked at the corner room and said, don't go to that room.

12:37 p.m. I'm lying in my room. I was very tired. So I don't know when I fell asleep. Suddenly I woke up with a loud noise. I went to see if anything in the house had fallen, but everything was fine. So I entered my room wondering where the word came from. Then the sound is happening again. The sound is such that children are jumping on the roof. I thought, what kids are playing so late at night. I would leave the room to go to the roof to see it, then it seemed, the landlord forbade to go to the roof at night. I looked at the clock at 4:29 pm. So I did not dare.

Shortly after, he called for Fajr. Then I heard a lot of noise in the room next to me. It seems that many people are entering that room. As soon as the call to prayer was over, everything came to a standstill.

After a while, the parents got up to pray.
I woke up at the call of my mother. I looked at the clock and saw 10:13. I got out of bed early. I told my mother to give me food. Mother said to eat from outside. I went out for dinner. I’m new to this area, so everything looks good.

I was returning home after eating. Suddenly I remembered the night. So I went to the house next to our house to find out about the incident. I knocked on their gate. An elderly gentleman opened the gate.

Me: I woke up tomorrow in the house next to yours.

Gentleman: Which house next door ???

Me: I pointed with my finger and said, in this house. 2nd floor.

Gentleman: No one stays in that house for long. Everyone gets up and leaves after 1 month.

Me: Why do you leave, do you know anything about this ???

Gentleman: No. I don’t know why anyone in this area.

Me: I said goodbye to the gentleman and went home. I went to enter the house, but saw the gate closed. I knocked loudly. The landlord's daughter opened the gate. I started to move forward, he said from behind, will knock gently from now on. I left without saying anything

As soon as I entered the room, I told my mother that there were some problems in this house. Mom said, what's the problem. I told my mother about the incident of the night. My mother blew my word in one word. I couldn't explain it to him in any way.

I spend all day lying down because the varsity is closed. Dad, busy with our home under construction. I was trying to eat lunch and get some sleep. But sleep is not coming. Still lying down.

5:47 pm Mother said to bring the clothes from the roof. So I went to the roof. I went there and saw the landlord's daughter watering the tree. I noticed the roof well. There is no place to play on this roof. So how did I get the sound of jumping at night. To find out, I need to talk to my landlord's daughter. So I went ahead on my own. He is still watering the trees. I told him directly, what is your name ??? He said, date ..........

9:09 p.m. I am sitting in my room. Dad came to my room and said, why don't you go where the landlord forbids you to go. I bow my head without saying anything. Suddenly I heard a knock on the calling bell. Mom opens the door as if talking to someone. I left my father in my room and left. But I wasn't ready to go and see what I saw. I saw mother and father standing together. I couldn't believe my eyes. I hurried to my room, but no one was there. I don't even know how long I was standing there. I came to my mother's call consciously. I didn't tell anyone. Mom is calling to eat. So I went to eat. Someone knocked on the calling bell while eating. I opened the door and saw no one. Suddenly I looked up the stairs and saw someone walking towards the roof. Whenever I stepped on the stairs, Tithi called me from behind and told me not to go that way. With that he entered our house. I also came home. He left after talking to his mother.

11:56 p.m. I went to the washroom to freshen up after reading. But unfortunately the water has run out. So I went to the kitchen for water. There is no water there either. So I came back to the room. I almost forgot about last night. So I turned off the lights and went to bed. After a while I heard the sound on the roof again like last night. I turned on the room light. All the words stopped. But suddenly there was a loud noise in the window ............
