Dear Steemians,
yet again I´ve failed keep up my regular posting. I hardly noticed that almost a moth has gone by since my last post.
Here the summer is being incredibly hot and between work and my other duties I don´t get a lot of time off.
I think I will have a nice period of two weeks now where I might have more time, so, who knows if I can get around to making a few posts.
There has been a lot going on.
Today I just wanted to share the view of Formentera,( our little neighbour island ) seen from the helicopter.
During the month I have been destined to working from the helicopter in my firefighting job I have seen so many bird-eye views I like to share with those who don´t have this possibility.In this previous post you can see what it its we do in our flights and practices:

Ibiza and Formentera are two sister islands and we are a unit called The Pitiusas in what everyone knows as The Balearic Islands. Formentera is much smaller than Ibiza and doesn´t have an airport or many of the services that Ibiza has so they are codependent.
In Formentera there is a very small unit of Firefighters and each month they have to practice using the helicopter because if there is a fire we go over and help them but they also have to work with the air forces. So, here are some pics of the day we went over to Formentera in full high tourist season and met up with the Brigade of Formentera.
Here is a small video of our flight over. Note that this time we had to fly over the center of the busy Ibiza Airport. The safest ways is over the center as planes are constantly flying in and out of it. It would take to long to get Air Control to find a space in between the flights.

We are very lucky so far to be reaching the fires before they get out of hand so, we can say that so far it´s being a very good Summer.
Yesterday and today we have had record high temperatures. Thank goodness we haven´t had a big bush fire to deal with in the intense hours of the day.
Our local news paper has also pointed out this historical high temperature.

I congratulate you for your work, please don't get lost so much and send more photos ha ha, what a beautiful landscape, this change of climate is getting crazier every day, I hope you don't have serious problems and can solve everything that comes up!

You have such adventurous life Romanie, you make me very jealous. I know that it is not always fun but also work but I believe you have such satisfaction when you see that something important been done to protect the land and people. Great view from helicopter :)
