A few paintings hung from the ceiling for visitors to see the last two Fridays at open house. Big pieces. I began each on the backside (why neglect canvas space?), with a “visual journal” entry to document some happenings and feelings I’m having while painting. Then I paint the front without adding text. Two paintings in one! What a deal:)
They made great room dividers during the cocktail party/exhibition. Little blocks of conversation split up around the house.

I like A poet and the News... (the news 😐🤔) a good reminder to stay away from it.
The next one 'dance' or is it 'this dance' feels like a forced one, already planning a way to dance one a way out of the place.

I have a hundred brushes that I use over and over, no matter how much they fray. I haven’t bought new ones in a while.
Paper and canvas use depend on what budget I can afford in the season. At present, I am out of stretcher bars, so I am not painting on canvas. I want to do a series of big paintings, so I am saving my money:) I have enough paint to last a while, accumulated over the months (and years). Though I always run out of mixing white and black.
I will make an order soon for supplies.
I have 100 22 x 30" Stonehenge paper that I recently broke into. 95 of those paintings to go!
