Very exciting New Year’s Day. In my last post, Art Potlatch, I mentioned how all my art this year will be free. Someone in Colorado took me up on the 1st free painting of the new year. She paid postage, and because it was a special day, I covered the cost of handling. This is revolutionary in my mind and will take me through the winter enthusiastic and smiling. All power to the imagination! Working to become a zero! Being as human as I can be, right now, not yesterday, not tomorrow!

So #stuckism are you stuck? It is a nice gesture but even better to know your art will be in the hands of someone appreciated it. Imagine how it spreads over the globe and is observed by all those different eyes. 🙂

I agree! It’s like a switch went on in my head. There is light in art! I always thought I was seeking communion with fellow humans, and felt awkward taking money for paintings. If I was hungry there wouldn’t be that dissonance. But I’m not. I eat well, have rook over my head, walk when I want to walk... Very fortunate. Now turning my old art pattern around. It feels right.
