The settlement of Hallstatt in Austria has a centuries-old history.
It is located in a remote alpine area on the shore of a lake
Salt mining has been carried out here for three thousand years.
Today, the development of the settlement is constrained by its location: mountains rise on one side, and a lake on the other.
The local flavor is very peculiar, as if you find yourself in one of the fairy tales of the Brothers Grim. The settlement is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
