My Second power-up within an week - (PowerUp 100%)

As my mentor for 14 Days Dive in Program @bambuka reiterates about power-up using Steem balance, I decided to read some article to understand the benifit of powering up.

I was surprised after finding the benefits. The first benefit is of course increasing the Resource Credit instantly. A newbie like me very well understand the value of Resource Credit as they might have faced the situation where they are unable to post or comment as the available Resource Credit might have already exhausted.

I understood that increase in Steem Power leads to a positive impact in reward curation. Hence, a 50% upvote of an user with 500SP carry more reward than an 100% upvote of an user with 50SP.

Hence, to reward the content I like, I need to upgrade my Steem Power. Not only reward the author, if my upvote has a good value, I will also receive a stake in form of Curation reward.

As I'm not looking for a quick money and then leave the platform, rater I plan to stay here longterm.

I can grow when the platform grows. The growth of the platform is helped when users like me convert their Steem into Steem Power - which can be termed as investment in Steemit.

With a good amount of Steem Power, I can delegate Steem Power to support the communities I like.

Considering all these, I decided to do power-up with the 20.5 Steem I recently received as a reward from different contests.

This is my second power-up within an week.

Although I'm not eligible to participate in SPUD4STEEM contest this month due to the minimum SP requirements, I'm excited for the contest and wish to participate in future editions of it.
