Browsing through the sales of bulbs, I noticed this envelope placed in the display of a shop in my city, which, a few euros, allowed me to buy many bulbs of this small and delicate flower. I did not hesitate and I planted these small bulbs randomly in November. With surprise and pleasure I noticed that in spring these plants were born characterized by a beautiful leaf very similar to the lucky clover and by small pink flowers arranged in a bouquet that showed themselves with all their simplicity and beauty.

I must say that this Oxalis is a very generous and resistant flower because, in fact, even the following year the bulbs that I left in the pots, flourished again with great satisfaction and pleasure. Impossible not to take pictures of them that I propose in this post. I find the contrast between the bright green of the leaves and the intense pink of the flowers really significant.
Native to South Africa, Oxalis pes-caprae was first brought to Europe in 1757 and reached habitable Mediterranean areas. It is present in California, Arizona and Florida, and also from Zealand, Japan and China.

Its flowers of a bright yellow are cup shaped and have 5 petals and three green hearts make up the leaf of this flower.
The leaves are toxic and can be a danger for the animals. This plant is a good weed and prevents the growth of other weeds, and its flowers are much loved by bees! And that's a good thing
