The Salt Village.

Hello friends of the WOX community!

Today I would like to share with you a nice find.

Next to the Salinas de Ibiza is Sa Canal, a village full of charm that I discovered last weekend during a photographic outing.

It is a small industrial village located next to an imposing metallic structure; the dock where the boats that come to load the salt moor.

In the village there are some colonial style houses, white with emerald coloured carpentry; small houses that once served as accommodation for the employees of the salt industry.

Continuing past the houses we find a small cove with crystalline waters ideal for swimming or snorkelling. At this time of the year the water temperature is still warm enough to do so.

I was surprised by the photogenic nature of the place, there were lots of details such as doors, rusted structures, creations made with glass carved by the waves...

One of the large warehouses where the salt was stored is now an exhibition hall called "La Nave".

All the photos were taken with a Nikon 5300 camera; here is a sample.

. Arriving at the fishermen's houses, from there a photo of the village. The coves with fishermen's houses are my favourite place to swim, far away from crowds and noisy beach clubs. Besides, there is no sand...

.The sea gives us back the rubbish we throw into it in the form of beautiful harmless crystals. That's how generous it is...

It would be really wonderful if the sea were selective and returned sharp crystals under the feet of those who throw rubbish, especially plastics but unfortunately it is not like that.

.Details of doors ot the village Sa Canal, during the pandemic I became fond of photographing doors and windows, maybe I related it to the confinement. I still have that habit.
