The witnesses voting importance

I'm @steem.history, who is steem witness.

I would like to talk about the witness voting importance today. Do you know the problem of the current Steem chain? The steem chain problem is that the stability of the chain is lacking. Typically, the chain stability can be expressed as a number of Node. Many nodes are that they are showing the chain stability. Steem had many nodes. There was a lot of backup witnesses, including the TOP witness. But by 1 year ago HF23 we lost many witnesses. Although it has been a year, the backup witnesses number is very lacking.

We can see it more clearly through Hive chain compared to Hive chain.

What can you feel? I think that two greatly a problem

1st problem :

There are too few witnesses of the Steem chain compared to the Hive chain. As mentioned above, the stability of the chain generally can be evaluated as the number of nodes. The steem chain lacks so backup witnesses. steem chain need more backup witnesses. If you are reading this article, please contact me if you want to work as a backup witness of the Steem chain. I will help you. Steem witness nodes do not guarantee high yields. But I think that it will be your good experience to run it.

2nd problem :

There are a lot of witnesses who don't serve the steem. They left steem a long time ago, but still voting for them continues. If you still support them, you will lose the place of new backup witnesses. Please withdraw their votes that left long ago.
