Hello dear Steemians,

I one of the last post about Falkland we just arrived to the place and wanted to explore the woodland. That part of the wood is predominantly covered by evergreen trees. Did you know that such evergreen trees producing essential oils and that is once the needles of trees on ground give that and there are not many plants it is like a natural gardener cleaned everything only the needles. Actually the reason might be because of lack of light too. Nevertheless it is something special to walk through such woods. It immediately reminds me the childhood and fairy tales of Brothers Grimm, that I loved to read when I was a child.

Stone bridges

After few hundreds meters we have seen the first stone bridge that was connecting both sides of a little stream, it might be a little today but on rainy days it is wider and much more water. Seeing such construction I thought again how good it was that they decided to made them of stone. Other material like wood would be already gone by now.

In this edition I decided to include many different bridges that we have seen here and also one was a tunnel that was also crossing from one side to another. It was very dark once you enter it I think in the evening it might be also scary to go through but luckily it was not too long nad as it is said there is a light at the end of every tunnel. It was a nice feeling to see that light..

Hope you like our Bridge series and we will see you in next post.

When I look at these pictures...I just want to live there...it looks like the most peaceful place on earth.

I can imagine, especially being there and seeing that everything live make me jealous of people who live in such places or who possess them.

Lovely photographs. Peaceful day.

Thank you Jeff the day was really nice and warm, that made it enjoyable.

Such a beautiful place to take many photos as reference for drawing or painting.

Yes, especially the bridges and trees that is why I always ask my hubby to make hte photos for future drawings.

I have been in Scotland once, and I loved their nature, and their scones :o)
But, it was a bit boring for me. We had an apartment in London, and I am a city boy.
I used to go with my skateboard to search for punk music and comics when I was a teenager (Portobello market, and other places).

Well beautiful pictures peaceful, best for meditation 😇

You are right, not many people, no noises but of course, many birds.

Beautiful integration of human activity and nature. I wish it were like this everywhere. I loved the pictures!

Yes, that is wonderful place, looks like the forest ranger take good care of the place. I love that place we need to come in summer might be cool and refreshing when it is warm and sunny.
