Finance crisis: Banks versus Crypto

Hello my dear Steemians,

You all might have heard about the chaos on finance market, that is the most affected American financial sector. The markets are so volatile and once it is started it can develop domino effect and everything was triggered by the announcement in USA the Fed funds increasing their interest rate to 4,5%-4,75%. Many how borrow or planning to borrow will be paying more than it was until now. That everything happened so quickly that there was not enough time for smaller banks. If the large and big banks have some reserves then smaller not.

Just think about 2008 Lehman Brothers collapse. This time it was SVB (Silicon Valley Bank) that is an example that shows how quickly it can happen that you have you money today by the bank and tomorrow it is bankrupt. After weekend today the was a queue of people in front of bank who likely wanted to bring their money in more safer place.

Seeing such situation with banks it is another confirmation that banks are also not really the secure place for our finance. The big banks in worse case scenario will be backed up by government but what is alternative?

The Cryptocurrency is another option that gives every of us the opportunity to decide what to invest our finance and one of he example is the situation now when many started to invest again in Bitcoin and Ethereum. That is another reason why those ones are on the way up.

Hopefully that will give some push for our Steem too, at least it is a good to see some trend upwards. Let's give time and see if that will continue.
