Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
Today I wanted to share my last work when I thought to go back to the roots. Actually my first experience with Soft pastel was in August 2017 that time when I saw such stick I thought how it is possible to get a beautiful and very colourful painting especially the fine details.
Of course with time I learnt that the fine details would require soft pastel pencils but the difference from normal color pencils the pastel one has more pigments that is why they are such bright and also you can blend them easily.
Working with pastel I noticed that it is very good for portrait because of ability to blend them smoothly some of portraits with pastel difficult to recognize if this is done with Oils painting or Pastel. That is something that I really love and also would like to reach.
This time I have chosen this Artist who I like very much this is Cara Delevingne, she has very interesting facial feature and that is why I have chosen her. But in general I love human beauty and that is something I want to capture.

Hi George and it is a pleasure to see you again on Steem. After being busy with curation and contests I thought to do portrait with pastel, my favorite medium. As to us, we are all fine and healthy, on and off busy with work but glad to have summer it is warm +16+18 and that is almost "hot" for this region, so trying to enjoy a bit of garden and walking at coast. Hope you are also doing well and it was really nice to hear from you :)
