Today I wanted to present you my last work that I did during my holiday, you can see the date 31/12/23, I remember that I finished it in the first half of the day but later on had to prepare some stuff for our festive dinner table and of course, you can imagine that the last day of December and then the first day of January are very busy so my work was left waiting for today to be posted.

This portrait was inspired by thee shows and movies that were running during the the X-mas and NY holidays. There are always some documentaries about the people who left their impact in the history of Human nation. One of the of course, is Marilyn Monroe, she was the first who showed that the beauty is very powerful. She inspired many female singers, actresses and in general many woman to use this and to show their uniqueness.
Who of you do not know the half closed eyes with endless eyelashes and her glance that makes you to stare. The beauty of her hourglass figure and her luxurious blonde hair.
I believe everyone admire her men and women and for many of course, she remains unforgettable Marylin Monroe
First, I was thinking to do the portrait black and white like it was on photo but then decided to do it in colour because she deserves to be bright like her life.
Hope you also like this work the same like me.
This is my favourite stage of work, when we start to see the features of face that are starting to get 3D shape and coming up from white background

My wife and I like watching old movies with the iconic actresses and actors…Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Rita Hayworth, and Mae West.
Marilyn Monroe meshed beauty and power. She was also loved by powerful men. I liked her acting because she had a subtle ambition. Meaning she was very ambitious, breaking gender norms by being beautiful, and she was very subtle doing it, with that soft captivating voice and soothing smile.
I remember reading this quote from her a while back...
