Hello dear Steemians,

You probably have noticed that recently we have too many things to do both my work where we have many of our colleagues suddenly falling off sick and often I have to organize the replacement on weekend and evenings, that made me recently very nervous. Of course then I have no time to relax. The same with my hubby who is fully busy with all the work at home around the house. It seems we need a bit of time for us, that is why if you notice that we are less active and take time for us, this is for recuperation.

In meantime I have created my painting tonight and would like to share with you. This is beautiful scenery that I have bee inspired by the post of @to-tru, the post about Gajeta is a traditional fishing boat.

Hope you like it.

Very good job @stef1, the picture looks great. I like that you added a little brighter color and a beautiful sunset. The boat looks great the reflection on the surface of the sea is perfect looking at the ropes and the hull of the boat. Maybe you could try to paint the reflection of the mast, which would be the biggest challenge of the reflection, because it is not visible in my photo either, because there is seagrass on the surface of the sea.
But I don't blame you at all, I think you're doing very well with each of your works.

I am very glad, my friend, that you have chosen my photograph as a motif for painting.

Hi Tony, you are absolutely right, somehow I completely forget about the mast, often I do one scene few times changing and amending something and this picture is one of the best example for it. I definitely return and try another time. Thank you :)

Beautiful painting! you always impress me with your beautiful strokes, many successes.

Thank you Stefany, nice to hear your lovely comment :)

Hi friend!! I'm glad you took some time to relax.
The painting you made is beautiful. I congratulate her for her great talent. Blessed night to you.

very beautiful and perfect painting

I have a question.

I am learning to paint. I think it's easy for me to re-create a painting than to paint a real object or actual scenery on the canvas. Maybe, with time I will learn the latter.

The question is, I re-created someone else's painting for my own practice and was about to share it in WOX with proper credits to the original artist ofcourse. But I had doubts if it was the right thing to do or not. If I get upvotes on such a post then technically I will earning by copying someone else's work.

What do you think about it? Should I share my practice paintings which are re-creations or shall I wait until I start creating my own from scratch.

It is common that on and off we are using someones Photogrpahy or work to create our own. I did few and used the photos of users on Steem, but I asked their permission and they agreed. If you have the same simply paste their permission in your post and also tag his name. Many will be happy with that and even come with their comment too.

If the source is outside of Steemit then see if the source is open, if not then of course it is the case of copyright.

Please let me know if you need more help :)

I have been tracing down the artist since I got your reply. I think he's not on Steemit. I found him on Pinterest and have sent him a message ove there. Let's see if he allows me or not. XD

P.S. Is there any such thing like Royalty Free Art for beginners' practice?
