Sunday walk at North Sea coast

Hello my dear Steemians,

*

Hope you are doing well and enjoying this beautiful and warm days of spring. The days are not really warm but with sun and without wind it feels nice and summer is not far away.

In Scotland we still have restriction and not allowed to travel beyond our county, that is why is it funny on weekends when on coastal path and along the promenade there are so many local people just walking and enjoying fresh air and just being outside.

This time, @myskye decided to take the camera and we have captured few pictures of our North Sea. It is always joy to find something on beach, I remember when my son was little we spend much time digging interesting stones, collecting shells and wondering jelly fishes. This time it was that interesting wood that stranded on our beach and of course as always a lot of seagulls.

First photo looks so peaceful....

Yes, it is not common to have such days when there is no wind :)

Nice shots. @myskye did a great with the pictures. I like the houses. Only looked on television, but lots of old and cosy villages in your country. Look forward to walk on the beach when the ice is gone :). It is fun, you never now what to find.

Yes, @myskye is very good to find great shots and moments. The villages are really beautiful here. More far North even better, we need to travel there one day too. I hope you will be able to have trips around too once you have Spring there.

Nosotros en Venezuela esta también, la capital de Venezuela, caracas y dos estados nos tienen cercados, no podemos salir de nuestro lugar en que vivimos.
Bellas fotos los comparto en mi cuenta, saludos desde Venezuela.

Thank you, I am glad you like these photo series :)

Buenísimo, saludos

It must be hard to be under constant restrictions

Luckily we have big garden and soon hopefully will spend more time in garden too.

Great photo shots!

I love this house from the second picture.

Yes, that is favorite motif for Artists in UK to do the paintings using such houses. They are all very old and typical for such little fishermen villages :)

Wow so calm around there,it feels perfect to do some fine art shooting, especially with the wood log.

I do missing travelling , before the pandemic I was going to travel to Malta, unfortunately 2 months later we had to cancel due to the whole situtation..

Nice post ! :)

Thank you @drephillip, the scenery is different from your place. I believe every place has its good side and interesting places. The best is to be able to enjoy the contrast, like visiting Spain and Portugal but then North, Scandinavian. It is a luxury to be European and to have a right to travel within Europe.

That is true, being european makes us privileged especially if you belong to one of the main continentes, since I live on a small island, if I need a new air, I need to get on a plane, sometimes even to go another island is more expensive then going to the main continent.

It's funny, 2 years ago I was tired of flying so much , 10-16x a year due to work - study :P

The shots are so alluring.

Thank you :)

Hello! What a beautiful photos. 😍 Thanks for sharing your amazing work. 💫💫

Thank you and glad you like them :)

What a lovely post @stef1. It must have been a very relaxing walk that day. It's a shame I never visited the North when I was in the UK.

Perhaps you are planning to paint one of these wonderful pictures in the future?

Yes, you are right, I have some of the photos and they are on my to do list :)

Scotland is really beautiful, although cold, maybe that is the reason why we so not have many tourists :)

Hi @stef1
Wow, you always make our eyes happy with your images, either your beautiful paintings or your beautiful photos. They really are beautiful pictures.
Those images project a lot of things, I see practically impossible that someone after seeing these pictures would not want to walk barefoot on the beach, or sit near where the sea hits to be splashed by the water. Thank you for sharing these photos
Have a good week.

Thank you for such wonderful description, it is really nice place when we have warm weather, people have picnics and kids love playing on beach :)

Beautiful place indeed @stef1
I myself prefer a bright sunny day than seeing grey clouds. Bright days makes people so cheery and less depressed. :D

I love sunny days too, but we go for any no matter if sunny or not :)

Beautiful shots. Would you believe I've never been to Scotland. I really should as its so close to Ireland. I even lived in the UK for a few years and never made it up to Scotland. Its definitely on my list to visit once we can travel again.

I know it is really very close. By the way, I have few of my colleagues who are from Ireland and they traveled, of course before lock down to every holiday forth and back. We also say that once everything settled, we have to visit Ireland. My husband told me much about "Irish coffee" which is also like a trademark of Ireland :)

Haha yes Irish coffee is great. I wouldn't drink it too often but for cold winter nights it's just perfect 😁
