Hello dear Steemians,

It is the end of the week and we have wonderful weather for Scottish condition +17C and sunny, many people try to enjoy the evening on fresh air. We just had some coffee in garden, it is a shame we have no terrace that would be something that we could enjoy.

Nevertheless, we decided to have a small walk in our park, it is a little lake there with many birds and trees. Today there was many people on playground, for kids especially little ones it is great to be outside. Especially today it was an is-cream van.

On some weekends there are some fans of model motor-boats meet up at water side and compete each other. That is also one of the day when kids love to be there and observe such race.

Scots: Funny notice

As you all know we live in Scotland and many say that Scottish people speak English. I believe with years, the language slowly was changed and adopted to Scots. I remember when we arrived here first time and heard people speaking we thought is it us who do not speak English or Scots who do not speak English. But slowly we got used to that and more kind of understand with our heart.

Here are some quotes that you may also find interesting:

  • Ah dinnae ken that means I do not know

  • This is another my favourite: “Och aye the noo” that means* ****Oh yes, right now*

But the best was this notice that I saw on the water boiler that was not working. Can you recognise the Scottish words:

Now I would like to say: Have a nice weekend!

and that is in Scottish Gaelic: Deireadh seachdain math dhut

What a lovely weather you have in scotland, its very hot in india here, can't even leave our house : ( ,have a fantastic weekend

It is cool here and the woodland is really cool, due to many evergreen trees, it is no wind and very quiet. I can imagine in India the temperature can be really high, hope that at least evenings it is cooling down.

Another beautiful green place! Thanks for sharing Greetings! 🌻

Thank you Esther for viewing, it is something that people if they visit once then will come back.

Thank you for support :)

Biodh deireadh-seachdain math agad cuideachd!

That sounds really great, when you hear or see Scottish Gaelic one can not believe that it is not possible to pronounce. It is nice that such old languages still exist and that it is still taught in school, of course, mostly in Western Scotland.

I agree with you.
