Hello my dear Steemians,
Finally it is the end of the week and it is free weekend for me and I am looking forward to have nice sleep, long walk and maybe some work around the house. You know how it is that we try to clean up our house before the end of he year, I try to do something every week so that I do not have too much work then last minute.
Everything would be good this weekend but only we heard today in news that once again we have no luck with weather and it is that there is a new storm approaching west coast of UK, the worst hit with rain and wind will be in Wales, they have red warning. The storm expected from 3 AM to 11 AM on Saturday.
Good that it was announced earlier so that people could plan their trips and also avoid travelling into the stormy weather.
Looking at this map I think once again that it was good that we moved from Wales to North. I remember when we were in Wales that it was raining almost every second day or so, our lawn was always wet and the car started to have mould inside of the car. So we definitely will not miss the time in Wales.
By the way, the first picture is of our knew lamp in this kind of modern style, it is also possible to dim the light and it took our place on piano in the corner,looks the best place for the dark corner.

That is definitely a very interesting looking lamp... don't think I've ever seen anything like it; almost a "lighted sculpture."
Our weather here in Washington in the States is much like UK weather... in the winter, eternally dark, rainy and windy. Hope you make it through the storm without damage or power outages!

The design is interesting, my hubby bought it and just showed me without light, I thought hm... interesting sculpture but then, he switched it on and it was soft light, very good for evening, fits very well there.
Yes, the storm spared us here in Scotland, so I am very glad for that. Today is finally blue sky still some wind, but can not complain :)

I wonder if you are affected much by such grey weather of UK because for me personally I do not like grey skies as it affects the mood of people in the negative point and that is a given fact because people gets depressed. That is why people tend to sleep more and "settle down" when the weather here in my place is gray and sad.
It's the opposite when the sun is shining brightly regardless of the heat because the people here is known to have a cheery disposition despite of the economic hardships of many people but we are just blessed by relatively better skies as it always bright thanks to being near the equator and although we have hot and dry season to the point that it really gets humid too, I prefer it better than when it is cloudy especially when it is raining, we just all wish for the sun to come back again.
Your lamp is like a work of art because of how it looks, It is great thing to have a useful appliance and at the same time very presentable piece because we get the best of both worlds. I bet that you can change the color temperatures of it if not changing the light intensity for your lighting needs over that area of your house. 😀👍

This part of UK, such North-West we are spared and did not have much problem. It seems though that it is very common this year already three time when we had such strong wind and rain. The whole weather is completely changed. The only what I am glad that I did not need to work this weekend.

Thank you, I think because the rings one over another one that makes it to look very light, I believe will be also very good for office :)
