The Stillness Within
In the quiet glow of evening’s fading light,
Where shadows stretch and melt into the night,
The mind lets go of all its heavy care,
And drifts to spaces calm and rare.
The stream flows gently, whispering its song,
“Be still,” it says, “you’ve wandered far too long.
Let silence hold you, soft and clear,
And feel the truth that lives so near.”
The heart, once tangled in the noise outside,
Turns inward now, where peaceful depths reside.
Each breath becomes a wave that softly grows,
A rhythm only the stillness knows.
O boundless depths! O vast, eternal skies!
In you, the soul’s reflection lies—
A spark of life, yet one with all,
Both infinite and infinitely small.
Though storms may rage and chaos fills the air,
A quiet mind remains aware:
An island steady, where the stars still gleam,
And life becomes a flowing dream.
So pause, and breathe, and feel the open space,
The timeless presence in this fleeting place.
In stillness, all the answers start to show—
The deeper truths we’ve always known.
