Why will you criticize the work of your pay masters

To improve the future of Steemit as a platform. I criticise when I believe it is warranted and if you look carefully at my post, you'll see that I share concerns about Steemit's forthcoming engagement program. You'll also see that I did it without being rude and without claiming to be speaking on behalf of a large community that shares my view. And most importantly, I didn't create an anonymous account to do so.

People listen when they know who they're talking to. They might disagree... But they listen.
