Today I am going to share some images of Rose apples also called Water apples and Java apples. This fruit is in my garden and it is very tasty. Rose apples are light and crunchy and they have an initially sweet, fruity flavor which is followed by floral notes of rose. Rose apples belong to the Myrtaceae family and their scientific name is Syzygium Jambos.
Rose apples contain lots of vitamins A and C which help in preventing prostate and breast cancer. They have a high potential for enhancing one's immunity. Their seeds are very good for the treatment of dysentery and diarrhea. They are also used for making wines.
