Today I finished a watercolor that in my opinion has been one of the most complicated to elaborate, it took me approximately 8 (eight) hours to finish it, I think it is due to the ambient temperature of about 22 ºC or perhaps that it is becoming saturated with lots of water. I had to wait a long time for each layer of watercolor to dry.
I decided to paint another dog that is in the residence where I live with my family, there is a neighbor who has a dog called "Mimi", these rare dogs in Venezuela, in fact people call them "Hush puppies" because of the famous shoes brand .
Actually, this canine corresponds to the Basset Hound breed. I also understood this when making this publication hahahahaha, "Mimi" is a very affectionate pet, every time she sees my daughters she approaches them with great emotion, I spoke for a few minutes with her owner to know a little more about this breed, the owner of "Mimi" told me that the dog underwent surgery to reduce the length of her ears a bit, because she dragged them on the floor and caused infections on the edge of her ears.
She told me that he is a sweet and meek dog who gets along well with children, and she confessed to me that he is a bit of a lazy dog, he doesn't like to exercise.
I wanted to paint this breed of dog for a long time, his face is similar to that of a sad clown.

El día de hoy terminé una acuarela que a mi parecer ha sido una de las más complicadas de elaborar, yo me tarde aproximadamente 8 (ocho) horas en terminarla, creo que es por la temperatura ambiente de unos 22 ºC o quizás que se está saturando con mucha agua. Tuve que esperar mucho tiempo para que se secara cada una de las capas de acuarela.
Decidí pintar otro perro que se encuentra en la residencia donde vivo con mi familia, hay una vecina que tiene una perrita que se llama "Mimi", estos perros son raros en Venezuela, de hecho la gente los llama "Hush puppies" por la famosa marca de zapatos .
En realidad este canino corresponde a la raza Basset Hound, Esto también lo comprendí al hacer esta publicación jajajajaja, "Mimi" es una mascota muy cariñosa, cada vez que ve a mis hijas se acerca mucho emocionalmente a ellas, hablé un poco con sus dueños un par de minutos para saber un poco más de esta raza, la dueña de "Mimi" me comentó que la perrita fue operada para reducirle un poco el largo de las orejas porque las arrastraba por el piso y le provocaba infecciones en el borde de las orejas.
Me comentó que es un perro dulce y manso que se lleva bien con los niños, y me confesó que es un perro un poco perezoso, no le gusta hacer ejercicio.
Quería pintar esta raza de perro desde hace mucho tiempo, su cara es similar a la de un payaso triste, disfruté mucho pintar esta acuarela.

Yo creo que fue por la acuarela en las orejas se puede ver ,pero vale la pena esperar 8 o 10 horas para ver este hermoso resultado, estos perros son muy dulces yo diría perezosos jaaa cuanta dedicación para obtener cada detalle, me fascina la expresión de sus ojos !
