I think ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ถ๐—ด ๐—ฆ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜ is a truly phenomenal film, but my problem is that I donโ€™t like ANY of the real-life characters portrayed in itโ€ฆ

There is no โ€œSave the Cat!โ€ element.

The bottom line is that everyone is out to make as much money as possible at the expense of less fortunate people โ€“ after all, that is the essence of going short.

When the film ends, the clever finance-cowboys who predicted the economic meltdown all get rich but they feel oooh sooo bad about itโ€ฆ

Crying all the way to the bank, as Liberace would say.

I find it difficult to root for hypocritical hedge-fund guys. Say about ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—น๐—ณ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ช๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜ (๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฏ) what you will โ€“ definitely no cats being saved in that film โ€“ but at least Jordan Belfort owned up to being a soulless money-grubber.

Neverthelessโ€ฆ

Seek it out & get your fix.
