Glastonbury

Just landed in Glastonbury I’m thinking of moving here as I find lately I am just completely over London. I really enjoyed living there for many years but over the last few years I’ve definitely felt a draw like I was ready to leave and experience the countryside but I would go back and forwards. London is kind of addictive like marmite, a city that you love to hate. But I suddenly feel completely ready to go and get out into nature and be surrounded by nature all times. Glastonbury is pretty unique because even though it’s small and the High Street is only one street it is full of spiritual shops from spiritual bookshops, to Crystal shops, incense shops. I don’t think there is one High Street chain even the food store is called earthfare and it’s organic with lots of vegan produce. I feel it’s an easy place to make a community outside of London it’s pretty socially cold in a lot of places.

These are great photos @ultravioletmag. Years ago I visited the UK and stayed in a small village just south of London. It was overcast and rainy some of those days, like your photos. But it was perfect. I felt like it was supposed to rain in Britain, and that was part of the appeal.

And digressing a little, I lived in Europe for about 4 years, traveled to many countries, and the most courteous drivers out of all those countries, were the British. Someday I hope to visit again.

Yeah the overcast nature is the downside of England we do you get many of these days at least it was pretty sunny today but we are definitely moving towards a lot more grey.
