A first look around the hotel we are staying. It’s a water park hotel so has an area with lots of slides as well as another at least 3 pools and pretty much unlimited food and drink all day.
They have this really cute little train that takes you from the main hotel to the water park area and rooms otherwise it’s a pretty steep walk up a huge hill but it is good exercise for the thighs.
A lot of food has been consumed and they have an u limited coffee bar which, is a bit dangerous for me as I had finally managed to pretty much quit coffee and now I’m back up to 2/3 a day 🤨
There are buffets pretty much on throughout the day but they also have some restaurants you have to book in advance tonight we went to the Greek one.
The food was probably just ok and I think I prefer the huge choice on the buffet but the restaurant was absolutely stunning with the most amazing views
tomorrow we are going into Heraklion which, is the largest town in Crete and has some really interesting historical ruins I am very much looking forward to seeing I have a bit of a capacity of two days to enjoy pool life then I need to get out and see something and explore.
Joygata looks as beautiful as the picture. I think I go there too.
