Kontes BARU 2021 dunia XPILAR | minggu XVII|Farmer's Resting Grasshopper

Greetings to all of us who are already in this beloved community. Meet again with me on this wonderful opportunity I participate in a macrophotography contest provided for the DUNIA XPILAR community organized by @ sultan-aceh as a moderator in this community and supported by @xpilar as the leader of this community.

Today I will share the types of grasshoppers that I found, these grasshoppers are very troublesome grasshoppers, especially for farmers, because they are pests to their crops. I found this grasshopper in the thickets of the Aceh forest to be precise in the village (Buket).

This is one of the few grasshopper types that we have seen. This type of grasshopper has two long, black antennae. A pair of brown eyes. The head is green with two black lines vertically. The elongated body shape with a slightly brownish color is also mixed with green and slightly yellowish. Two large thighs and calves filled with sharp spikes as one of his weapons to protect himself. It's quite painful and bleeding when the thorns are scratched on our skin.

This type of grasshopper is called the green grasshopper because it is predominantly green. Even though the color is predominantly green, this type of grasshopper has the ability to change its color to brown whenever needed, such as during the dry season to adjust to its environment. This green grasshopper is an insect that is very disturbing to farmers. Or in other words, this green grasshopper is called a pest grasshopper. I think, you know what I mean is that these grasshoppers are a pest of locusts that bother farmers a lot. Moreover, the large numbers were really annoying. I say that, because I am a farmer myself.
