xpilar world on Sunday XIX
This contest was held by @sultan-aceh as a Moderator and supported by @xpilar as a public figure.
Today I will share again the type of mushroom that I got in the Aceh forest, the shape is very unique like a white umbrella, this type of mushroom is a wild mushroom, this type of fungus grows on dry and dead wood trunks.
Mushrooms are creatures belonging to the mushroom kingdom, so they do not belong to the group of plants or animals. There are many types of mushrooms that can be found. some of them are edible and highly nutritious. and there are also types of mushrooms that contain toxins, which I post today is a type of wild mushroom, white toadstool and this is a type of mushroom that cannot be eaten
Who here likes to eat mushrooms? Although including vegetables, mushrooms have a texture similar to meat. Because it tastes delicious and useful, mushrooms are often processed into various types of food. Mushrooms are also widely sold in vegetable stalls at affordable prices.
although it tastes good, not all mushrooms are edible. Among the many types of mushrooms in this world, there are some that should not be consumed because they contain very dangerous toxins.
The toadstool looks similar to the rice straw mushroom which is commonly consumed by people on the Asian continent. Therefore, we must be really careful not to eat mushrooms that are accidentally found in the forest.
Toadstools contain a toxic compound called amatoxin. if ingested, the poison can cause permanent damage to the liver and kidneys.
That's what I can give in today's edition of the post, hopefully it can add insight and knowledge about the types of mushrooms, which can be eaten and which cannot be eaten, here are some pictures of white toadstools that I can show
