It has been a long time since I have visited, but the current "turbulent times" we are experiencing inspired me to stop in and pen a few words.
Today's message is that people often confuse the idea of "prayer" with religion, or being religious. Whereas that might be the case for some, it is not the general definition.
What prayer serves to do is to clarify thoughts of something we really wish would/could happen, and clarify those thoughts enough that we can verbalize those words and speak the out loud.
In very basic terms, think of it a bit like asking someone you fancy on a date. You can wish you could go on a date with them to your heart's content, but unless you actually ask, it's very unlikely anything will happen.
When we actually ask, we might still not end up with a date... but at least there's now also a chance that we do end up experiencing something wonderful.
I bring this up, because if there are things in your world that you wish would be different... at least ask for the change. Or ask for the strength and resolve to weather the storm.
Not related... my general absence has mostly been due to the time I have been spending on the design, creation and publication of my first deck of Tarot Cards. If you are interested, you can see them here and decks are available to purchase from my new web site, as well.
Having completed the Tarot deck, I am now working on the Cosmic Triage™ Oracle Deck, which hopefully will be published this summer. At least that's the plan!
