The Garden Of Shadows
One day he heard screams walking through the snow, a boy he did not know from the town was drowning in a lagoon that implied that the ice had detached where he was standing previously. She helped him and out of gratitude the boy decided to follow her and always accompany her so that she would not feel alone, without knowing the truth about her, without seeing her shadow.
After following her everywhere the girl thought and wondered if he really enjoyed being with her or just felt obliged to be because he feels that he owes his life, the girl did not like that they were with her just out of gratitude and then She decided among a field of flowers where the boy had followed her, to show her that dark shadow that was chasing her.
The child was inertia so scared that he released a small bouquet of flowers that he had for her and when he saw the shadow he ran away leaving the lonely girl as at first: Alone. She vowed never to trust anyone again, because even people who are out of gratitude at some point would flee from your side, because there are no brave people, there is no one who stays at all and helps you tame your demons.
There are those who say that we are always the villains in a poorly told story, what the lonely girl did not know is that the boy fled because he was afraid of the dark and his own shadow, but he was not with her out of gratitude, he was also a lonely boy with a shadow as wicked as his and decided that it was better to flee and end his shadow to help the girl, so that both of them were plunged into the occurrence that was pursuing them.
Years later, these children met again, as adults, and recognized each other. She complained to him why he fled and he simply ran to the field, plucked a small bouquet of flowers and handed it to her saying:
—I didn't leave because I was afraid of you, I wasn't running for who you were." It terrified me to know that you had a burden so great that you felt that you should have mine as well, so I healed and now I am here, giving you what I wanted to give you that day.
—Flowers? —She asked. —The flowers won't forgive the fact that you left me alone.
He smiled and said:
—I don't come to give you only flowers, I come to give you my light so that you can take refuge when you can no longer take your shadow.
