7 years ago I registered an account on steem/steemit with username @xpilar

In the spring of 2016, I noticed a new company Steemit, Inc. that came with a cryptocurrency called Steem on the crypto exchanges, the steem coin quickly increased in value on the crypto exchanges.

This piqued my interest because I had already invested in the crypto market a few years earlier.

It took some time before I decided to invest in the coin Steem because I first had to find out about the company Steemit, Inc

After my research, when I saw that they had created a blogging community that would reward writers for their good posts, I understood that this was something new and unique. And that investors could earn steem just by giving votes from their invested steem power.

I decided to invest and set up the account @xpilar, Created 2016-07-13, 21:42 on steem/steemit and got a member number 20,757

My lucky number is 7 and the membership number contains 7 twice so I thought this would be a good investment 😊

My first investment at that time I bought approx. 26000 steem at a price between 3-4 dollars and transferred them to my steem wallet and power up

In my first time on steemit, I gave mostly upvotes to posts I liked, but when I wrote some posts myself eventually the rewards from other users disappeared, it seemed that only those who were friends voted for each other.

There weren't many competitions at that time in steemit so I thought I could contribute with activity and maybe be rewarded for my competition posts. And then I got attention, and an incredible number of participants.
