Hello my fellow promoters, greetings to you all, it's my pleasure to participate in this great contest brought up by @ijelady. I hope you'll enjoy your reading.

Power up in my own understanding is changing or rather say, converting your liquid Steem to Steem Power. This could be said in another way as saving your Steem token for future use.

Imagine Working in firm or company and at the end of the month your being paid, imagine exhausting all your incomes for the month. How will you do when need arises for Money, what will you use to to show people that you're working? where will you get help from if you didn't save?

Power up is equivalent to or could equally be seen as saving your money in the bank for rainy days. And you don't just save and go away but your Steem Power will be bringing in more Steem powers

In Steemit block chain power up is beneficial in the following ways;

• It helps a Steemian to be influencial, you can see this with Steemians who have enough power up, like the dolphins. They carry influence in the block chain and other growing Steemians like making friends with them.

• Power up builds up our Steem Power and helps us to help others through voting their posts thereby encouraging them to be more active and persistent.

• Power up helps in building up a particular Community, imagine a community whose members have enough voting Power or a community of whom there is enough Steem Power in the account, everyone will want to post in that particular community because they are sure of getting meaningful votes. This thereby helps in keeping such community active and making the members to be active as well.

• Finally in Steemit, we're talking about club5050, club75 and club100 Which is now mandatory for every Steemian to be Among, no one can belong to this clubs if he or she doesn't Power up.

• Firstly I logged in to my Steemit wallet
• I clicked on the arrow that's behind my liquid Steem
• I click on power up, put in the number of steem I want to power up and I clicked on OK

Power up is very essential to anyone who calls his or her self a Steemian. I believe it has helped many who has engaged his or her self in powering up because I've seen the benefit myself.
