and I thank God for the power up contest organised by @ijelady I believe we all know the importance of powering up to me power up is just like a fixed deposit that operate in a normal bank but here on steemit platform power up is serving your steem for future purposes. So my own definition of power up is

Powerup is serving your steam for future use.

Steem Power up is of how much steem a user has. The more Steem Power you have the more influence. So before you power up you have to convert your steem to steem power.

Everyone if you are a true STEEMIANS you should know the importance of power up your Steem and we all know that having steem power STEEM POWERS is an advantage for the WHOLE STEEM HOLDER COMMUNITY, which we are all included.
Some people might ask why must we power up

The power up to enjoy the benefits of Steemit we power up so that we can have access to some of the community a power to gain most team

To earn more steem power you need to contribute to Steemit platform by mining them and before you can mine you have to power up
