Seeing posts and communities in languages you don't understand creates a lot of clutter on the page and is inconvenient to sort through to find relevant content. Can we please have an option to filter posts and communities by language?

I agree.
In 2017 this option did exist. I don't know why they took it out
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
Submit
