I woke up to this morning with the bountiful blessings of the most high. This day marks 32 days of my stay in Dobidi Nkwanta community of the Bono East region. After several weeks of stay, the day finally arrived for us to be assessed on our proposals.
I prepared the venue for the assessment with my colleague group members. We anticipated the joy that will come with the assessment as we are all ready to go home. The coordinator called me to inform my group members to prepare very early for the assessment. We did as expected but the assessors did not come early.
After some minutes past two o’clock in the afternoon, they arrived. We received them to the venue and started the presentation. I did the presentation and the rest of the group members answered questions about the work. It was evident that, we did the work collectively.
The coordinator and the other assessors were all impressed with our work. After the presentation, we observed our community exit processes. We met the chief, the assembly man and some elders of the community to bid goodbye to them. After that, we boarded a bus to head home.
That’s how I spent the day.
