Yesterday October 10 was WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY This day was observed to create awareness on mental health to bring people's attention on the need to be healthy Mentally.

The WHO defines Health has the state of complete physical, mental and social well being of an individual and not merely the absence of diseases. Whilst mental is in relation to the mind or the brain. Hence having a healthy mind or brain in very necessary.
Being mentally healthy reflects how you manage emotions,stresses and feelings. It's requires being emotionally intelligent.

Let have a look about some signs and symptoms of mental illness.

  1. Re-drawal from social activities: When an individual redraws him or herself from social activities or people and tends to express a character of being reserved, avoiding people and being quite for a long time, it's alarming indicating that the person is going through emotional problem.

  2. Mood changes: People get overlly sad, and sudden mood changes with no reason.

  3. Overly Anxious

  4. Paranoid

  5. Behaving in an unusual manner than normal.

WAYS TO IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH

  1. Avoiding negative people.

  2. Enageing in activities that gives you joy.

  3. Ask for help when going through emotional stress.

  4. Self acceptance- Accept who you are.

  5. Do something you love doing best.

Let be cautious and aware of our mental health. It's very necessary to keep you mind health.
