The Diary Game: 22/06/2021 - My Activities today

Hi friends!

In today Diary, I woke up around 4am to cook food for my kids and to make sure that they have sucked hot tea. After I had finished serving my kids, I swept my compound and washed my bowls.

There was no water to drink in our house so I went to a nearby kiosk to buy two bags of water. Since I could not carry all to the house, I brought one and then went back to bring the other one.

Today is the day I had to go to clinic and weigh my kid, Akosua. So, I bathed her and also bath. When we finished dressing, it was around 10am. We got to the road side to pick a taxi. There were few nursing mothers around, so I also join the queue praying that it will reach my turn to weigh my baby and leave the clinic.

We spent only 15 mins at the clinic when my baby was weighed. She weighed 7kg compared to last month when she weighed 5.2kg. I was very excited that my baby is increasing in weighed. I did something different, that's giving her food to supplement the breast milk.

Soon, I arrived at home. I relaxed for a while lying on bed, breast feeding my baby. At exactly 2:30pm, I went to kitchen to stir the dough and water on fire. Banku is one of the food we often eat. Soup was in the refrigerator so I did not stressed myself preparing different soup.

I then served my family and continued the rest of activities; bathing my baby and giving her food. My day was really successful. Thanks to everyone!
