Hello guys. I am very excited to get connected with you all today. I hope you are all had a wonderful day because I certainly did.
Today has been a very great day I will like to share with you all.
After four (4) weeks of dedication and hard work at the Ward K Health Center and the Ward K Community at large, it was time for us to say goodbye.
Friday was the day of our assessment. All the groups that were sent to the various health facilities met on campus to be assessed. Requirements of the assessment included our daily field report, our individual family report and also our group report.
Our group met four Doctors including the Community Based Education and Services (COBES) Coordinator- Doctor Stephen Apanga. We presnted our report to the committee and the assessment went well.
At the community level, the head of the facility- Madam Helena Abkar led us to say goodbye and thank the Chief of Ward K- Naa Sulemana Nindoo for his hospitality. He appreciated our effort and wished that we had stayed longer. We assured him that we will be back next year to carry out an intervention for the community and then he prayed for us to be guided in all our endeavors.
AT THE CHIEF'S PALACE
As a group, we planned on something we could for the Health Center. We took into consideration some of the challenges at the health center. We landed on getting a shelf for the facility where they will keep their folders.
We went in search of a carpenter who could make a very strong one for us.
After a thorough search, we came across one who we contracted to make the shelf for us.
After he was done, we picked it from him and then it was time for us to present it to the facility.
It was actually a surprise since we all decided not to tell anyone in the facility. Madam Helena, Madam Serena and Madam Joycelyn received it with gratitude. They thanked us so so much for our good work and wished that we return next year to continue with our work.

Separation is very sad, they will really miss your presence and support. Thanks for having connected with them all these days. I hope you would continue to share with them from time to time. That would not let them miss you forever.
My pleasure 😃.
