Computer Vision Syndrome
The last thing we are going to talk about today is computer vision syndrome, we are looking at this because the world we live in is full of screen and technological devices and so knowledge of this can go a long way to protect your sight. We tend to get redness when the eye is exposed to screen for quite long.
One way we can protect the eye is the use of anti-reflective coated spectacles, this would also protect you from the rays of the laptop especially the blue rays that can damage the macula, ideally your optometrist would also add photochromic tint to make it easier for you to use also in the sun.
Learn to also practice the 20-20-20 rule where after 20 minutes of working on a screen you look 20 feet away for 20 seconds to allow your ocular systems and accommodative systems to take a break and reset for you to work again. This simple exercise can help you a lot if you use computers or electronic gadgets frequently.
Conclusion
Always put your health first, remember vision lost may not be recoverable and that many health related issues are avoidable if you do the right thing. Your health is your wealth always, if you have life you can try again. Thanks for reading and have wonderful time.
