Many new steemains finds it very difficult to adopt to the ways of Steemit, and the question we ask is "is it their fault?" Some can say yes but not yes all the time their mentors are also part. On the part of the mentor many steemains go out there promote Steemit by given these newbies a great hope of reward earnings . It is true with Steemit if you you put in more effort you will be rewarded but these mentors makes everything looks like it is automatic and must come as soon as we register them. Please on our Promotional campaigns to recruit more people, we need to be mindful of the hope that we give people about Steemit. We shouldn't force people to sign-ups simply for our personal gains but we need to also look at how these people will be able to stay with us.

Many newbies after hearing those big testimonies from their mentors raised their hopes very high. It is true you can earn with Steemit that can change your life but Steemit is not a money making machine. In Steemit , we worked for the reward it is not an automatic thing that as soon as you are sgin-up you start to earn. Consistence and quality together with proper investing in steem is a way to success here on Steemit. We need to give quality for our reward.

Some leaders and mentors all that they think of is what they will get for themselves forgetting they have a responsibility about a promise they have made to some newbies. After signing them up for their Promotional and individual gains, these newbies are left stranded unattended. Just last week a newbie came to me concerning how to delegate to his community. Though they have seen various post about delegation and how to delegate but was still finding it difficult to do it. He then contacted his mentor and as I speak he was not been attended. This action has gave him some sort of feelings if not for meeting me for such a help I don't know his next actions he will take. Many do not even guide, visit their post, educate them on how and the way Steemit is been headed for them to adjust themselves appropriately.

Since Joining steemit 2017, one major thing I have been hearing about is to encourage people's to write good quality content. But I stand to be corrected it seems that criteria is not working anymore, I have been taking my time to visit some post that are been left unattended and found out that "good quality content does not count here on Steemit". For this matter I question myself how do we curate?. Do we really read a post before casting Votes and comments?. It is true sometimes it is difficult to go through all post but we can do our best as far as curation is concern let us all try to give the little help we can offer the newbies. At least a remarkable comments will entertain and motivate these newbies to get going.

Steemit is free for all but not free to earn. You must put in 💯% effort in it before you can dream of any success you are planning towards. For any serious newbie who is ready for Steemit after accomplishing all his/her achievement task and have spent at least 3 months here on Steemit should be able to know the various guidelines,rules, markdowns etc about Steemit. But what I have observed and witnessed is that , instead of these newbies to constantly read on how Steemit works, how to enter a contest, how to effectively use tags etc. These steemains constantly ask questions that is readily available for them. Some of these newbies just complain about luck of votes but we need to ask them how many times do they vote. Many of them think that since their power is small it is not necessary. But here in Steemit every vote counts. Therefore it is relevant that newbies involve themselves in the activities of all communities they post through them in other to gain recognition and help

In all promoters needs to be cautious with the kind of message we give to Peoples about Steemit,though we blog at Steemit and earn for free but the reward won't come if you have not done anything. Also our leaders and mentors should in time extend their help in a form of education and motivation. After doing all these, curators also needs to pay attention small to this newbies, even a comment will serve as a motivation to some of them. Not leaving this, newbies should have a positive mindset towards Steemit. They have to be read to learn, be consistent and involve themselves in community base activities for it to enhance their successful stay on Steemit
