Good day fellow steemians. I hope you’re doing great, here’s a little update on how my day went today. Today was the first school day for this trimester in my school. I’m a student of the University For Development Studies(UDS), Nyankpala campus. My campus is an agricultural campus hence there are lots of trees and vegetation in my school. I’m offering Bsc Renewable Natural Resources and I’m currently in my third year second trimester. My school runs on a trimester system which means three school terms.
I woke up at 5:30 am this morning and prayed the fajr prayer. I brushed my teeth and took my bath after that. My first class was at 7 am so I was in a bit of a hurry. I dressed up ,prepared my bag and left my hostel at 6:20 for class. My first class was Principles of environmental microbiology. I got to class a few minutes before time and met my colleagues. We welcomed ourselves and the lecturer was ready to start. He introduced the course to us and gave us our course outline. During the class I learnt about microbes and how they can either be harmful or useful to the environment. The class ended at 9:00 am.
A picture of me going to class all excited.
I had three classes on my timetable today and the second class which is principles of experimental design starts right after the first class. Luckily the second class takes place in the same lecture theatre as the first class so we didn’t have to move to another class. The lecturer introduced the course to us since it was our first class. During this class we learnt about statistical tests and how to prove one’s hypothesis about some data. We learnt about t- testing and ANOVA test which stands for analysis of variance. This class was about how to test our hypothesis on researches and experiments. The class ended at 11 am and I was very hungry at the time. I came back to my hostel to eat and then prepare for my next class which was at 2pm.
My third and final class was tourism management which started at 2pm and ended at 4pm. The lecturer introduced the course to us and asked us questions on our expectations about the course. We learnt about tourism planning , it’s importance and impact on a country. We also learnt about the impact of tourism on a country’s economy, the impact of tourism on our environment and socio-cultural society. We closed at 4pm and at that time we were already very exhausted from the long day. After class I took some pictures and arrived at my hostel at 4:45pm. I prayed asr and took a nap. Here are some pictures I took.
Today was very exciting and tiring as well. I saw my friends after a while so I was excited. It was indeed a long day for me. I hope there are fellow students here who can relate to how my day went.
That was so much to learn for the day. I enjoyed reading your diary game. Have a good day.
