There were two brothers, Ali and Dauda. Ali was the older, while Dauda was the younger one. They lost both their father and mother when they were at their tender ages. After the death of their parents, they were taken care of by their wicked uncle, called Apatika. He was a farmer but never sent one of his children to work on the farm. Ali and Paul were students when their parents were alive. They were good to an extent that the headmaster of their school usually recommends their father to emphasize more on their education.

But the lives of these two orphans were pathetic and miserable after the death of their parents. Apatika started bullying them and be sending them to farm during school days, but leaving his own children. For a couple of weeks, Ali and Paul couldn't go to school due to the daily farming enforced on them by the rude uncle. The headmaster of their school again approached Apatika and told him how good these boys are at school, and for that matter, he should put more effort into their education as they might help him one day. But he turned a deaf ear to the headmaster's recommendation.

Every week, if not twice, then 3 days for maximum attendance. But during exams, Ali and Dauda would lead the whole school, as the saying goes, 'what God wills remain unchanged'. Apatika was shocked after he had heard that and realized that his own children were attending that same school every day. Instead of focusing on them, he decided to stop looking after their education. But his refusal couldn't retard their effort to achieve their aims. Ali and Dauda would go and work for people to get money for their basic needs. After their final exams, Apatika was ignorantly happy with the idea that Ali and Dauda would drop out after their results were out because they wouldn't be able to pay the huge amount to proceed to university. He said to himself in his mind that his own children would proceed and leave them as he was going to pay for their fees. After the results were out, fortunately for Ali and Dauda, both of them were able to excel and were also part of the national best five students in that year. Contrary to Apatika's sons, who couldn't succeed in the final examination.

Apatika cried vehemently about what he saw after the results were out.
The next day, Apatika was on television and heard from news that Ali and Dauda had been awarded a scholarship to further their education in abroad. What ended after hearing that was' Apatika fainted after hearing the good news about Ali and Dauda.
