For the purpose of this contest, I wore my Steem T-shirt just to go out and take pics. Before I settled to produce this post, I glanced through my gallery to find that one pic that spoke to me. I wanted the story to be something special. Something that expressed to me to others. That is when it dawned on me that I had the right pic all along. So I present this pic as my entry for the contest.

To me, this selfie represents my aspirations for the future. My hopes of becoming a better person whom everyone can look up to and trust that I would deliver.

Aside from me in this selfie is @njaywan, our country rep, and @albertodecrutor a newbie I have introduced to the platform.

@Njaywan represents what I hope to achieve and become in the near future. The devotion as a leader serving his people. The dedication to achieve more on this esteemed platform. The zeal to be great by working for the people. The commitment to promoting Steemit and endorsing quality Content Discovery on the blockchain. The energy to serve and provide assistance to every Steemian in need of it, without partiality and with an open heart.

In fact, he represents all the esteem steemians who are currently on the front row gearing the affairs of the platform, promoting steem, managing communities, and encouraging community interaction. Providing a suitable atmosphere for other users to feel at home in the various communities. The ones I look up to, hoping to get to their level soon enough. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the country reps, @oppongk and @njaywan and moderators, @nattybongo and @mcsamm, of the Steem-ghana community for your tireless work and devotion to the community. You are the reason the community is striving, for that we are very grateful. Keep up the good work.

@albertodecrutor represents the journey I've got to embark on in order to reach such a level. To achieve my goal of being on the front line of the battle, I ought to extend a helping hand to all those who are around me, who look up to me for guidance, and who are willing to learn from my experience. He reminds me of all the duties I have to perform to achieve greatness. The devotion I ought to put into my work, knowing that hers look up to me.

To be a better somebody relies on my actions today and I hope to make the best out of it by extending helping hands to the fellow steemians in need of it. We grow together as one big community and there is the need for some to lead and serve the multitude, promote steem to the world, guide newcomers on how the system runs, and support their efforts.

I hope to be the best for myself and everyone around me. To be the reason for other users' smile. Steemit can make that possible. Just got to trust the process.
