Good day, everybody! I hope everything is going well for you and that you are in good health. I'll take advantage of this occasion to share with you my day's activities. It's been a fantastic day in Kumasi, where I've been making some rounds.
My first stop after leaving the house was at the barbershop to have my bushy hair properly trimmed. Because my usual barbershop was closed, I had no choice but to go to this new barbershop. I had to rush and take a car to Adum to meet up with a friend after having my hair cut in less than forty minutes.
The purpose of my meeting with this acquaintance was to discuss a business opportunity that she had lately mentioned to me. I needed to meet her and discuss it with her in order to figure out how to proceed.
Philipa works as a nurse at Maternal and Child Health Hospital, which is adjacent the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the heart of Kumasi. This was my first visit to her place of business, as well as my first visit to this downtown hospital. She was ecstatic to see me, and we had a wonderful conversation.
Following that, I went on a second round of shopping to acquire a new books that I will be reading this year. I visited few bookstores in town but was unable to all my choice. I was already fatigued and hungry after wandering for a while. At a nearby restaurant, I ordered some fried rice.
The town appeared to be less crowded than on normal business days, when a large number of people visit to either purchase or sell something. I suppose it's because it's the weekend, which means a lot of people will be relaxing today.
Overall, completing some rounds today was a lot of fun, and it's my pleasure to share it with you. Enjoy your time off this weekend.
